Research and Innovation Center Nepal (RICON) and Nepal Engineering College (nec), with the technical sponsorship of the IEEE Nepal Chapter, proudly announce the 2026 International Conference on ICT and Photonics (ICTP 2026) and IEEE Photonics Society Nanjing Chapter. This marks the first IEEE conference in the ICTP series, establishing a strong milestone in Nepal’s scientific and academic landscape. ICTP 2026 is dedicated to enhancing the quality of conferences and publications within Nepal, fostering a stronger research culture in Nepali academic institutions, and contributing meaningfully to the global scientific community.

The conference will feature distinguished professors and researchers from Nepal, Korea, China, India, and Vietnam as keynote speakers. With more than 100 research papers expected from international contributors, IEEE ICTP 2026 aims to bring together leading experts, innovators, and academicians to share cutting-edge insights in the fields of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Photonics.

A key addition in the conference is a Special Workshop on Global Digital Innovation & Impact hosted by the School of Global Digital Innovation (GDI) of the Korea’s top research university, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), through which government officials, policymakers, and digital governance leaders from Korea and other countries will discuss emerging policies in digital governance, AI strategies, and cross-border collaboration. This will provide Nepal with a rare opportunity to learn directly from global experts and explore new pathways for national digital transformation.

The conference will take place at Hotel Hyatt Centric, Soaltee Mode, Kathmandu, from 11-14 February 2026. With global participation, ICTP 2026 promises diverse sessions designed to inspire breakthrough ideas, foster collaboration, and promote knowledge exchange that drives smarter, sustainable technological growth.
