The program Mission "Baikalpik Soch" (Alternative Thinking): What is the Way Forward?” will be organized at Southwestern State College Hall, Basundhara, Kathmandu, on 23rd September 2025 (2082 Asoj 7, Tuesday) in an inspiring atmosphere of dialogue and collaboration. Will be jointly organized by the University of Three Generations and the Eagle Think Tank, the initiative will aim to chart actionable roadmaps to address Nepal’s pressing challenges while promoting the nation’s long-term interests. The necessary financial aspects for the program will be managed by the organizers through their own private income sources.
The program will begin with a moment of respect for the departed souls of the recent Gen Z movement and heartfelt wishes for the recovery of the injured, followed by warm greetings for the upcoming Dashain, Tihar, and Chhath festivals.
Highlighting the organizing institutions, the University of Three Generations, established in 2020 under Dr. Rajendra K.C., will seek to foster intergenerational intellectual dialogue to benefit the state and society. The Eagle Think Tank, formed in 2025 by three former senior officers of the Nepali Army—Ram Chandra Khatry, Ratna Godar, and Direndra Malla—will focus on safeguarding and strengthening Nepal’s national interests across security, diplomacy, environment, leadership, and human resource management.
Amidst the backdrop of political instability, governance challenges, unemployment, and growing public discontent, the program will emphasize the urgent need for constructive alternatives. It will provide a platform for distinguished experts to share insights on education, constitution, bureaucracy, security, and policing, collectively preparing long-term strategies that will address both national priorities and public concerns. The resulting roadmaps will be shared with relevant authorities and the public through appropriate channels.
The event will feature keynote presentations from five eminent personalities:
- Dr. Rajendra K.C. – Educational Roadmap
- Dr. Surendra Bhandari – Constitutional Roadmap
- Former Secretary Krishna Hari Banskota – Bureaucratic Roadmap
- Former Brig. Gen. Dr. Keshar Bahadur Bhandari – Security Roadmap
- Former AIGP Bigyan Raj Sharma – Police Roadmap
A dynamic interactive Q&A session will follow, fostering constructive dialogue while maintaining neutrality and responsibility. The program will conclude with a group photo session and expressions of gratitude to all participants, including dignitaries from diplomatic, academic, bureaucratic, economic, civil society, and security sectors, as well as representatives of impartial national media.
