Panel Discussion on “UN Peacekeeping Operations” Successfully Conducted under "Mission – Kartavyapath"

As part of the ongoing “Mission - Kartavyapath”, a special panel discussion on the topic “UN Peacekeeping Operations” was successfully conducted at Southwestern State College, Basundhara, Kathmandu on 26th May, 2025. The program was jointly organized by Southwestern School of Management and Technology, University of Three Generations, and Eagle Think Tank.
During the discussion, the expert panelists highlighted the important roles played by the United Nations in maintaining international peace and security at the strategic, operational, and tactical levels. They also spoke about the significant contributions made by the Nepali Army, Armed Police Force Nepal, and Nepal Police in various UN Peacekeeping Missions since 1958.
The event was attended by 40 undergraduate students along with some students from the +2 level, who actively participated and showed great interest in the discussion.
At the end of the program, Dr. Rajendra KC, Campus Chief of Southwestern State College, presented letters of appreciation to all the guest speakers and resource persons as a token of gratitude and respect.
This panel discussion was an important activity under the seven-day “Mission Kartavyapath” campaign, which aims to empower students with ethics, leadership, national values, and global awareness.
