Renowned NNMGA/IFMGA certified Nepalese mountain guide and high-altitude filmmaking expedition expert Pasang Kaji Sherpa successfully summited Mount Everest on May 23, 2026, at 3:50 AM, proudly carrying the Pokhara Avengers flag to the top of the world. The expedition began on April 11, 2026, and marked his 8th successful Everest summit. Over the years, he has also successfully summited K2, Cho Oyu, Manaslu, and several other 7,000m and 6,000m peaks. His successful Everest summit is a proud moment for the Pokhara Avengers community and supporters across the country. At the summit, the Pokhara Avengers flag was unfurled against the iconic backdrop of Mount Everest, symbolizing a shared commitment to raising awareness about climate change, protection of Himalayan glaciers through Nepal’s most popular sport. Since its inception, this highest bid franchise of Nepal Premier League has continuously supported causes related to climate change and glacier preservation while also promoting the spirit of Nepalese sportsmanship and grassroots cricket development. “We wanted this expedition to stand for something bigger than just reaching the summit. It was a call to remind people of the importance of preserving our glaciers and raising awareness about climate change, while also encouraging the growth of cricket,” said Chairman Subodh Tripathee. The achievement further highlights Nepal’s leading role in global mountaineering and showcases the resilience of Nepalese climbers and guides on the international stage. This successful Everest expedition stands as both a celebration of adventure and a reminder of the responsibility to protect the Himalayas that continue to inspire the world.
