Nepal Engineering college web lecture
Nepal Engineering College (nec), the Department of Civil Engineering, Department of nec-BDH Program and Department of Civil & Rural Engineering with collective effort from all the faculties instigated Web Lecture Series during the pandemic COVID-19. The main aim of the series was to coin the pandemic time by enhancing the horizon of knowledge in students with the help of experts from the education and the pragmatic field.

On 30th August 2020, Sunday by Dr. Rakesh Dumaru, Doctorate in Strucutral Engineering, University of Porto had presented on "Seismic Performance Assessment and Strengthening Techniques for Existing Reinforced Concrete Buildings in Nepal" and on 1st September 2020, Tuesday, by Dr. Biswajeet Thakur, Scientist ‘D’, Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeosciences, Lucknow, had presented on “Remote Sensing and GIS applications in Civil Work: A Basic and Practitioners Approach”.

The web lectures were attended by more than 170 students. The presentations presented by the experts are very useful to all the students and the professionals. These types of presentations are running every week by different departments.
