Bhaktapur / Hult Prize also known as the Nobel Prize for students challenge young people to solve the world's toughest issues by empowering them to make money, do good and make life better for millions of people through the creation of for-good for-profit businesses. The theme for this year returns to the root of the human experience - food. The 2021 Hult Prize challenge is "Food for Good: Transforming food into a vehicle for change." Hult Prize is challenging University students to transform food from a necessity for survival into a vehicle of change and prosperity for humanity.

In 2009 Hult International Business School MBA student Ahmad Ashkar founded a company to give his then peers around the world a platform to have sustainable, profitable impact. One year, and one meeting with BertilHult later, the Hult Prize was born. The Hult Prize is presented by Hult International Business School in partnership with United Nations Foundations. Former U.S. President Bill Clinton selects the challenge topic and announces the winner each September. Each year the Hult Prize provides 1 million USD in seed capital to the winning impact enterprise of its flagship program.

This year, Hult Prize at Nepal Engineering College is going to host Hult Prize On Campus program in which students from Pokhara University can participate and create their business ideas into reality. NirajB.K., has been selected as a Campus Director for the On Campus program.
B.K. said that the students from all over the world will take part in the competition with their creative ideas and showcase their ability to think outside the box which is essential in today’s world. He said "The preparation has been progressing rapidly and the organizing committee is eagerly excited and ready to train, inspire and aspire the students to be the change." He also added "Though we are in this pandemic situation, we are trying our best to reach to the colleges affiliated to Pokhara University and engage as much students as possible."
Hult prize is an amazing opportunity to represent yourself and your country globally with your innovative ideas, as the winner of the intra campus event will automatically advance to compete in Regional Finals happening around the world. One winning team from each host city will then move onto the summer business incubator where the students are trained, mentored and will receive advice, learn planning will be advance them to create their own start-up. The final round would be held where the winning team will receive 1M USD.
