Bhaktapur / Hult Prize also known as the Nobel Prize for students challenge young people to solve the world’s toughest issues by empowering them to make money, do good and make life better for millions of people through the creation of for-good for-profit businesses. The theme for this year returns to the root of the human experience – food. The 2021 Hult Prize challenge is “Food for Good: Transforming food into a vehicle for change.” Hult Prize is challenging University students to transform food from a necessity for survival into a vehicle of change and prosperity for humanity.
This year, Hult Prize at Nepal Engineering College is going to host Hult Prize On Campus program in which students from Pokhara University can participate and create their business ideas into reality. NirajB.K., has been selected as a Campus Director for the On Campus program.
B.K. said that the students from all over the world will take part in the competition with their creative ideas and showcase their ability to think outside the box which is essential in today’s world. He said “The preparation has been progressing rapidly and the organizing committee is eagerly excited and ready to train, inspire and aspire the students to be the change.” He also added “Though we are in this pandemic situation, we are trying our best to reach to the colleges affiliated to Pokhara University and engage as much students as possible.”
